Reborn by Water and Spirit, 거듭남의 기도
The bible episode 1.
What does it mean to be reborn by water & spirit?
Water = the Word
Spirit = holy spirit, the spirit of God
Reborn by Water and Spirit = to be reborn by God's seed & spirit
(Lk 8:11, Jn 3:5; 1 Pt 1:23)
신앙인이라면 꼭 알아야 하는 성경 지식 1.
물은 말씀이고, 성령은 거룩한 영 즉 하나님의 영을 말합니다.
요한복음 3장에서
'물과 성령으로 거듭나는 것'은
'하나님의 씨와 영으로 다시 나는 것'을 말합니다.
사람의 육체가 다시 나는 것이 아니지요.
Jesus spoke about rebirth.
Because the Israelites at that time were not reborn by God’s seed.
but by the inherited seed of Devil.
Just as Jesus said (Jn 8:37),
Israel and the Jews at that time were physically descendants of Abraham.
However, the spirit that was in them was the devil.
He talked about the spirit not the flesh (Jn 3:5).
Because Abraham’s descendants, the Jews, were like Adam and Eve,
born of Satan’s seed of the word and Satan’s evil spirit,
Jesus told them to be reborn by God’s seed and God’s spirit.
이천년 전 유대인들은 하나님의 말씀 즉 하나님의 씨로 난 자가 아니었습니다.
그들은 사단의 유전의 씨로 났기 때문에 사단의 악령이 함께 거하고 있었습니다.
만일 그들이 하나님의 씨로 난 자녀였다면,
하나님의 아들인 예수님을 십자가에 매달지 않았을 것입니다.
당시 이스라엘의 유대인들은 자기들이 사단의 씨로 난 자인줄 모르고,
하나님에게서 난 선민인줄로 알고 있었죠.
요한복음 8장을 읽어보면 그 사실이 잘 나와 있습니다.
유대인들은 자기들이 아브라함의 자손인 하나님의 자녀라 주장했지만...
예수님은 이스라엘과 유대인들에게
사단의 자녀라 말씀하셨습니다.
그들의 육신은 아브라함의 자손이었지만
그 속에 있는 것은 사단이었기 때문입니다.
According to Matthew 7:21
“only the one who does the will of my Father
who is in heaven will enter the kingdom of heaven.”
and to all who received him,
to those who believed in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God
- children born not of natural descent,
nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God (Jn 1:12-13).
아브라함의 혈통으로 났다고 해서 하나님의 자녀라 할 수 없습니다.
마태복음 7장에는
하나님에게 "주여 주여" 하는 자마다 '천국에 다 들어가는 것'이 아니라
하나님의 뜻대로 행하는 자라야
천국에 들어갈 수 있습니다.
