Light and darkness according to the Bible
Light symbolizes a person who has God’s word of life,
and darkness symbolizes a person who does not have God’s word.
(1 Thes 5:1-8)
These are the meanings of the light and darkness
because the Word is referred to as light or life. (Jn 1:1-4)
‘빛’은 하나님의 생명의 말씀이 있는 자이며,
‘어둠’은 하나님의 말씀이 없는 자이다(살전 5:1-8).
그 이유는 말씀을 빛 또는 생명이라 하셨기(요 1:1-4) 때문이다.

The people of day and people of night
1 Thessalonians 5 makes references to the people of day (light)
and people of night (darkness).
John 1 also mentions the people of light and the people of darkness.
Jesus came into the world as a light (Jn 12:46).
The scriptures, however, state that the light shines in the darkness,
but the darkness has not understood it (Jn 1:5, 9-11).
The fact that the light shines in the world of darkness shows how the ignorant
and corrupt era of darkness (night) is coming to an end,
and that a new era is launching.
It makes it clear now that a new era is created
because a previous era becomes corrupt.
데살로니가전서 5장의 말씀에 낮(빛)과 밤(어둠)의 사람이 있고,
요한복음 1장에도 빛과 어둠의 사람이 있으며, 예수님은 빛으로 이 땅에 오셨다(요 12:46).
그런데 빛이 어두움에 비취되 어두움이 깨닫지 못하더라고 하였다(요 1:5, 9-11).
어두움의 세상에 빛이 비취었다는 것은, 무지하고 부패한 어두움(밤)의 시대가 가고
새 시대가 왔음을 알 수 있다.
이로 보건대 한 시대가 부패함으로 새로운 시대가 창조되는 것이었다.

Newborn Faith
Humans, themselves, in unexpected times,
do not know when they themselves get worn-out
or find out they have been worn-out.
Also the act of indolence in faith, we get worn-out, weak,
and corrupted, which leads to outrageous act of faith.
So, let us find again our "Newborn Faith".
사람이란 자기도 알지 못하는 순간에 낡아지고 낡아지게 된다.
신앙이라는 것도 나태하다 보니까 낡아지고 쇠하여지고 부패해져서
나중에는 말이 아닌 신앙이 되는 것이다.
우리는 '처음 신앙'을 다시 찾아야 한다.
The world where God is present is light and day.
The corrupt era is the world where God, who is light, has left, just like in Genesis 1.
It is night that comes to an end.
The world where God is present, on the other hand, is light and day.
It is something that is newly created.
Furthermore, a place where God, who is life, is present becomes also life.
Today the book of Revelation is proving
that the era that is passing away is night and darkness (1 Thes 5),
and the re-created twelve tribes are day and light,
and they are family in God’s kingdom.
부패한 시대는 창세기 1장과 같이 빛이신 하나님이 떠난 세상이요, 이는 밤이며, 없어지는 것이고,
하나님이 함께하는 세상은 빛이요 낮이며, 새로 창조되는 것이다.
또한 생명이신 하나님이 함께하는 곳은 생명이다.
오늘날 계시록에서 증명한, 없어지는 시대는 밤과 어둠이요(살전 5장),
다시 창조되는 열두 지파는 낮과 빛이며, 하나님의 세계 가족들이다.

Light, rain and air of heaven
Let us not seek and gain understanding what the world gives,
but seek to find understanding only what the Heaven gives.
As if the Light in the sky shines so bright,
let us become a True Light which shines in the darkest time.
And should be able to save the dead.(Spirtiual Death)
The light has been preaching this light to the ignorant and corrupt darkness
so that the darkness can become the same light.
Since the light is life, all things cannot live without the light.
Shinchonji Church is proclaiming life to all creation,
just as heaven grants us light, rain, and air.
We pray that people will receive this life and live.
우리는 저 세상을 본받을 필요가 없고 하늘을 본받아야 한다.
저 하늘의 빛과 같이 어두운 세상을 밝히는 생명의 빛이 되어
영이 죽은 사람도 살려줄 수 있어야 한다.
빛은 무지하고 부패한 밤에게 같은 빛이 되게 하고자 빛을 전하고 있다.
빛은 생명이니, 빛이 없으면 만물은 살지 못한다.
하늘의 빛과 비와 공기같이 신천지는 만물에게 생명을 전하고 있다.
이 생명을 받아서 살기를 기도한다.
