Korean Cold Noodles is food that make from thin and long noodles.
The noodles is made from flour and starch of various material ; buckwheat(memil), potatoes, kudzu etc...
Soup of korean cold noodles(Naengmyeon) is made from beef·chicken·pheasant meat.
After the soup are cooled, pour it into on noodles.
And put fittingly vinegar and mustard, then, eat tastily.

Origin of Korean Cold Noodles(Naengmyeon)
According to the 19th century documents of Dongguksesigi(東國歲時記),
it has been made since the Joseon Dynasty.
Originally a delicacy in northern Korea, especially
in the cities of Pyongyang (平壤) and Hamhung (咸興) in North Korea,
Korean Cold Noodles(Naengmyeon) became widely popular throughout Korea
after the Korean War.
Pyeongyang-style naenmyeon is called
“Mul-naengmyeon(Water noodles)”
As the name suggests, it features more broth,
and the noodles are made with buckwheat flour.
Hamheung-style naenmyeon,
which is called “Bibim-naengmyeon(Mixed noodles)” has little or no broth
but lots of spicy red pepper paste with extra chewy noodles made from sweet potatoes.

This time, I eat Ukessam-Naengmyeon.
‘Uke’ from ‘Naengmyeon’ means meat(肉).
‘ssam’ from ‘Naengmyeon’ means wrapped.
Eat meat with Naengmyeon, so said that it is Ukessam-Naengmyeon.
Sparerib and cold noodles(Naengmyeon) of Ukessam-Naengmyeon are set menu.
It is a little hungry if eat Naengmyeon.
