I will introduce about 'The Promised Pastor' promised in the Bible.
Four kinds of pastors
There are four kinds of pastors in the Bible.
Of those that belong to God,
there is a pastor of prophecy, a promised pastor, and a general pastor
and there is a false pastor who belongs to Satan.
A pastor of prophecy
A pastor of prophecy is chosen by God to preach what God will fulfill in the future.
The promised pastor, given that he keeps the promises of God, is chosen and appointed as ruler and as the one who speaks on God’s behalf.
A general pastor
A general pastor is one set up by men to preach to the future generations (the world) what the Lord has fulfilled.
The false pastor
The false pastor who belongs to Satan is the one set up by Satan in order to persecute and hinder God’s work and pastor.
What kind of pastor is the promised pastor?
- The promised pastor of the New Testament -
Jesus makes a promise with his believers, and the one who keeps it is chosen as the promised pastor (refer to Rv 2, 3).
Regarding the promise of the New Testament,
who, when, where, with whom, what, and why was it made?
Jesus who Came in the Name of God
2000 years ago(at the time of the first coming),
God dwelt within Jesus who came in the name of God.
The Bible states that seeing Jesus was the same as seeing God.
(John 5:43, 12:44~45, 14:9)
The Counselor who Came in the Name of Jesus
It is written that the Counselor, who comes in the name of Jesus,
is the Spirit of Truth(the word) and will teach
what Jesus had proclaimed (John 14:26, 16:14-15).
This counselor is hence, the teach who will protect and teach with grace.
The Promised Pastor whom the Counselor, the Holy Spirit is with
to as the one who spoke on behalf of God – the Counselor.
Similarly, the person whom the Counselor (the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent) is with,
is the pastor promised in the New Testament and also the one who overcomes.
(Revelation 2-3, 10)
The Overcomers who Fulfills that Promise
Currently, the pastor of Shincheonji Temple of the Tabernacle
of the Testimony is creating God’s kingdom of heaven here on earth,
exactly as he witnessed it in heaven.
Similar to how Jacab had created the 12 tribes of Israel through his 12 sons(Gn 49),
he became the new spiritual Israel who created the 12 tribes which bear 12 crops of
fruit every month.
This is proof that he is the one who overcomes. (Mt 19:28; Rev 22:1-2)
