John 8 "The Truth and Freedom"
The following explains the conversation between Jesus and the Jews.
예수님과 유대인들이 서로 주고받은 말을 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
Shinchonji / Shincheonji Bible Study <John 8:32-33>
Jesus said to the Jews “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”.
The Jews replied to this, saying,
“We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone”.
예수께서 유대인들에게 “진리를 알면 진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라.”고 하셨다.
이 말을 들은 유대인들이 자기들은 아브라함의 자손이요, 남의 종이 된 적이 없다고 했다.

Then Jesus said, “Everyone who sins is a slave to sin”.
Then he said, “A slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”.
He also said, “I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me”.
다시 예수님이 말씀하시기를 “죄를 지은 자마다 다 죄의 종이라.”고 하셨다.
그리고 “종은 영원히 집에 거하지 못하고, 아들은 영원히 거하나니,
아들이 너희를 자유케 하면 너희가 참으로 자유하리라.”고 하셨다.
그리고 예수님도 “너희가 아브라함의 자손인 것을 안다.”고 하셨다.
“그러나 내 말이 너희 속에 있을 곳이 없으므로 나를 죽이려고 한다.”고 하셨다.

Jesus said again to the Jews, who were Abraham’s descendants,
“I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence,
and you do what you have heard from your father”.
예수님은 또다시 아브라함의 자손인 유대인들에게 말씀하시기를
“나는 내 아버지에게서 본 것을 말하고, 너희는 너희 아비에게서 들은 것을 행하느니라.”고 하셨다.
Shinchonji / Shincheonji Bible Study <John 8:42-47>
Jesus said to the Jews that His father was different from the father of the Jews
and that His father was God but the father of the Jews was the Devil.
He was not talking about physical fathers,
but saying that the spiritual fathers of the two were different.
This means that although both Jesus and the Jews had bodies of flesh,
the spirits in them and their fathers were different.
예수께서 아브라함의 자손인 유대인들에게 예수님의 아버지와 유대인들의 아버지가 다르다고 하셨고,
예수님의 아버지는 하나님이시고, 유대인들의 아버지는 마귀라고 하셨다.
이는 육의 아버지를 말함이 아니요, 이 두 사람의 영의 아버지가 다르다는 것을 말씀하신 것이었다.
예수님과 유대인들의 육은 같다고 할지라도, 그 속에 있는 영과 그 아버지는 다르다는 것이다.
Shinchonji / Shincheonji Bible Study <John 8:48-51>
People attend church diligently and they respond with
“Amen” to their pastors’ sermons.
They are loyal and give many offerings.
And they believe. What do they believe?
They believe their pastors’ words.
Jesus testified the Word, the gospel of heaven,
to the pastors and their congregation at the time of his first coming,
but they did not believe him and instead claimed
that Jesus was demon-possessed and a heretic.
The people in darkness said this at that time.
사람들이 교회에 열심히 나간다. 목사의 말을 듣고 ‘아멘’ 한다. 충성하고 헌금도 많이 낸다.
그리고 믿는다. 무엇을 믿는가? 목사의 말이다.
예수님은 당시 목자들과 그 교인들에게 하늘의 복음 곧 말씀을 증거하셨다.
그러나 그들은 믿지 않았고, 도리어 예수님에게 귀신이 들렸다고 했고, 예수님의 증거를 이단이라고 했다.
이것이 당시의 어둠의 사람이 한 말이다.
If they had believed in the words recorded in the Old Testament and realized its meaning,
then they would have verified the testimony about the prophecy of the Old Testament and its fulfillment—and believed it.
The people of darkness did not believe and had no interest in the Word of God.
Because they did not know, they did not believe.
They only learned the words of the world, the work of the world,
and the teachings of men, all of which were different from the words of Jesus.
Because it was different they could not believe it and called it a heresy.
자기 목자로부터 세상 말, 세상 일, 사람의 계명만 배웠으니 배운 것과 다르므로 믿지 못했고
오히려 이단이라 한 것이다.

만일 이들이 기록된 구약의 말씀을 믿었다면, 그 뜻을 깨달았다면, 약속의 말씀을 기다렸다면,
구약의 예언과 그 성취에 대한 증거를 확인하고 믿었을 것이다.
믿지 못한 어둠의 사람들은 하나님의 말씀에 대해 관심도 없고 알지도 못하므로 믿지 못했다.

Shinchonji / Shincheonji Bible Study <John 8:52-55>
but the Physical Israelites who became corrupt could not believe in the fulfillment,
because they did not have the Old Testament prophecies in their hearts.
Likewise, today, those who have become corrupt
and do not have the New Testament prophecies
in their hearts cannot believe in the fulfillment of the New Testament.
초림 때 예수님은 구약을 이루셨으나, 당시의 부패한 육적 이스라엘은
구약의 예언의 말씀이 마음에 없었기에 그 이루신 것을 믿지 못했다.
이와 마찬가지로 오늘날도 신약의 예언의 말씀이 없는 부패한 자들이
초림 때와 같이 신약이 이루어진 것을 믿지 못한다.
God is the Creator who created the heavens and the earth.
He made known the history, moral teachings, prophecy, and fulfillment
through His messengers who spoke on His behalf (Old and New Testament prophets).
He made them record His Word, and what they recorded were
the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.
Therefore if one does not know the meaning of the promises
then he or she cannot act according to God’s will.
The reality of today’s believers is that they do not know what is written in the Bible or what kinds of promises were made to them.
That is why they simply believe and follow their pastors’ words.
천지를 창조한 창조주 하나님이 계시고, 대언의 사자(구·신약 선지자들)를 통하여
역사와 교훈과 예언과 성취를 알렸고, 기록하게 하였으니 그 기록된 것이 구·신약 성경이다.
기록된 말씀은 하나님의 뜻이요 약속이다.
그러므로 약속의 말씀의 뜻을 알지 못하면 그 뜻대로 할 수 없다.
성경에 무슨 말씀이 있는지, 무엇을 우리에게 약속하셨는지 알지 못하므로 목사의 말만
믿고 따르는 것이 오늘날의 신앙인의 현실이다.
The Lord’s messenger testifies to what he has seen and heard
from God and the fulfillment of the prophecy as he had been commanded.
But if the people do not believe or know the Bible or its promises,
how can they believe the words of the Promised Pastor?
They called the Promised Pastor a leader of a sect because of the Word
that he preaches (the words of Revelation from the New Testament)
is not similar to what they teach.
하나님의 사자는 하나님으로부터 보고 들은 것과 약속한 예언이 성취된 것을 지시에 따라 전하는 것이다.
그러나 성경도 약속도 믿지 않고 또 알지도 못하니, 어찌 약속의 목자의 말씀을 믿겠는가?
약속의 목자가 전하는 말씀이 자기들과 맞지 아니하니 이단이라 한 것이다.
If God and Jesus are living in me then I will know the Word,
and I will act according to His will.
Revelation will fulfill and this is the will of God and Jesus.
When it is fulfilled and testified, why would some not believe?
It is because they are the sons of the devil (weeds).
That is why one must be born again with God’s seed of Truth.
하나님과 예수님이 내 안에 계신다면, 그의 약속의 말씀과 뜻을 알고 그 뜻대로 할 것이다.
계시록은 하나님과 예수님의 뜻이요, 이룰 일이다. 이를 이루고 전할 때 믿지 않는 이유는 무엇인가?
마귀의 아들 가라지이기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님의 진리의 씨로 다시 나야 한다.
