[Shincheonji Volunteer News] Shincheonji Philip Volunteers receives a plaque of appreciation



On November 26th last year, Korea Disabled Veterans Organizations(KDVO), located in Gangwon province of East Sea region awarded appreciation plaque to the Shincheonji Philip Volunteers.

More than three hundred people had participated in the annual general meeting, including the mayor of the East Sea province.

'Love the Country, Share the Peace' Event was held in Mangsang beach located in East Sea, Gangwondo in August of last year, which was the seventieth National Liberation day of Korea. 




About 1,200 people including those from the East Sea regional veterans' organizations (War Veterans Association, Widows Association, Korea Disabled Veterans Organization, Distinguished Military services Association), religious people, and foreigners had participated to commemorate the Liberation day of Korea. 





The Chairman of Shincheonji Chruch transcends borders, race, religion, ideologies and is working according to the Lord’s Will for achievement of world peace under the slogan "Let’s hand down heritage with no war!"




Shincheonji Volunteers is continually working in various fields such as delivering free meals to the seniors who live alone, giving a free haircut in the senior center, giving a hand in agriculture, repairing houses and painting mural.
