"Who is the True Orthodox, and Who is the Heretic?"

There's a reason that I come to Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Because of only excellence of words, I went to shincheonji church.

By the way, some people spread wrong stories about shincheonji.

God has been working fairly with politicians, various people of the society, people of religion, and all creation in the heavens and earth. God has loved all fairly, like the light, rain, and air of the heavens, and He has never been biased. 

But the problem was with the religious people of each era. This was because the god of Satan (spirit) has been working through the people of religion.

Through these following words of comparing the theologies and faiths of Shincheonji and the people who criticize shinchenji, let us discern who is the true orthodox and who is the true heretic. 

하나님은 정치인, 사회인, 종교인, 천지 만물과 더불어 만국소성을 위해 공평하게 일해 오셨고, 하늘의 빛과 비와 공기같이 그 누구나 공평하게 사랑하셨으며, 어느 쪽으로도 치우치지 않으셨다. 문제가 있다면 그 시대의 종교인들이었다. 이는 사단의 신(영)이 종교인들을 들어 역사해 왔기 때문이다. 이 글을 통해 신천지와 한기총의 신학과 신앙을 비교하여, 누가 정통이고 누가 이단인지 알아보고자 한다.

Korean Christian Churches on a Dramatic Decrease, and Shincheonji Church of Jesus on a Dramatic Growth

Christianity grew rapidly in Korea, and the Korean churches once had a record of having 12 million followers. In the awake of the 21st century, the number of Christian congregation members drastically fell to about 8 million. 

On the other hand, Shincheonji Church of Jesus grew from having 120 congregation members in 1986 to 45,000 members in 2007, then to 70,122 members in 2010, and to 120,000 members in 2012. In 2013, the number increased by 30% from the previous year. Shincheonji continues to grow, and more notably, 90% of its congregation members come from other established churches.

우리나라의 기독교는 급성장했고, 한때 성도 수 1,200만 명을 기록했다. 그러나 2,000년대 들어서면서 기독교의 성도 수는 800만 명으로 떨어졌다. 반면, 1986년 120명이던 신천지예수교회의 성도수는 2007년 4만 5천 명, 2010년 약 7만 명, 2012년 12만 명으로 증가하였으며, 2013년에는 전년 대비 약 30% 성장했다. 신천지는 계속 성장하고 있으며, 특히 신천지 성도들의 90% 이상은 기성 교회 출신이다.

Arbitrarily Labels Shincheonji Church of Jesus as ‘Heresy’

Alerted by the dramatic growth of Shincheonji Church, Korean Christian churches are arbitrarily labeling Shincheonji as ‘heresy’ in order to stop their own congregation members from going to Shincheonji. They are still spreading the falsely broadcasted content of MBC PD Note as if it is the truth.

The people who criticize shincheonji, which has its root in Calvinism, treats anyone who does not belong to its own denomination as a ‘heretic.’ This is why they is calling Shincheonji a heresy, for it does not belong to they. 

Through several letters and seminars, Shincheonji said, “If we have ever falsely testified the word of God, then point it out based on the Bible.” However, nothing was brought up by the people who criticize shincheonji.

They is using all kinds of cruel methods on the congregation members of the denomination which they arbitrarily labeled as a heresy to force them to believe in the their own doctrines. 

신천지예수교회의 급성장으로 인해 위기감을 느낀 한국 기독교계는 자기 교단(교회) 소속 교인들이 신천지로 가지 못하게 하려고 자의적으로 신천지를 ‘이단’이라 정죄하였고, 허위보도된 MBC PD수첩 내용을 아직까지도 진실인 것처럼 유포하고 있다. 아울러 칼뱅교의 후예 한기총은 자기들과 같은 소속이 아니면 무조건 이단으로 규정하고 있고, 그래서 한기총의 소속이 되지 않은 신천지를 이단이라고 하는 것이다. 신천지는 수차 서신 및 세미나를 통해 “말씀을 잘못 증거한 것이 있다면 성경으로 지적하라”고 했지만 단 한 번도 지적을 받은 적이 없다. 한기총은 자의적으로 이단으로 규정한 교단의 교인들에게 온갖 간악한 수법을 동원하여 자신들의 교리를 믿도록 강요하고 있다.

In the Scene of Violating Human Rights that Induces Runaway, Leave of Absence, Divorce, Confinement, and Violence

Just like how Calvin slaughtered those who did not believe in the predestination theory, they labels anyone who does not belong to its own as a heretic and has been practicing what is known as heresy consulting education sessions against denominations and their members who do not belong to its own. Pastor Jin of the people who criticize shincheonji is exploiting religious conversion education sessions for personal profits.

칼뱅이 ‘예정론’을 믿지 않으면 무차별 학살했듯, 한기총은 자기 소속이 아니면 이단으로 규정하고, 한기총에 소속되지 않은 교단과 그 교인을 대상으로 개종교육이란 소위 이단상담교육을 진행해 왔다. 진OO 목사는 개종교육을 자행하며 돈벌이를 하고 있다.

The reality of a religious conversion education session

Conversion education pastors have been inciting conflicts among families by coercing divorce from the husband of the target and ordering the families to kidnap their own member to the conversion education site, all on the basis that the target is not willing to change the belief. 

In order to drag their targets to the conversion education site, these pastors suggest violence, sleeping pills, chains, and cuffs while requiring payment (education fee). In this process, many members of Shincheonji Church were stripped off of their basic human rights. Also, during the education sessions, they instigate the family members to use all kinds of cruel methods such as confining and conducting physical and mental violence against their own family members. 

This is the reality of what is known as a religious conversion education session. 

개종목사들은 교육 대상자가 기존의 신앙을 포기하지 않는다는 이유로 대상자의 남편에게 이혼을 강요하고, 그 가족들에게 개종교육 현장까지 납치해 데려오도록 지시하는 등 가족 간의 갈등을 부추겼다. 이들은 강제개종교육 현장에 끌고 오기 위해 폭행은 물론 수면제나  쇠사슬, 수갑까지 동원하게 했고, 돈(교육비)까지 요구했으며, 이 과정에서 신천지예수교회 성도들은 말할 수 없는 인권유린을 당했다. 또 상담 과정에서는 가족으로 하여금 감금 및 정신적·육체적 폭행 등 온갖 수단과 방법을 가리지 않고 핍박·비방하게 하였다. 이것이 바로 강제개종교육의 현장이다.

Are Kidnapping, Assaulting, Threatening, even Beating Someone to Death Allowed as Long as the Victims Are Not Part of Their Own? What Other Evidence Do Christians Need, as Followers of Jesus?

The coercive conversion education pastors are mere businessmen involved in conversion business who use their status as pastors. They committed and abetted kidnapping, confinement, and violence, and took in massive amounts of counseling fee. 

“우리 교단이 아니면 잡아 가두고, 폭행하고, 협박하고, 심지어 때려죽여도 괜찮다는 말인가? 예수님을 믿고 따른다는 기독교인들이 다른 무슨 이야기가 필요한가? 강제개종교육 목사들은 목회자 신분을 앞세워 개종 사업을 하는 장사꾼에 불과하다. 납치·감금·폭행 등을 자행·방조하고 엄청난 상담료를 챙긴 것이 그 증거다. 

If it is so, "Who is the True Orthodox, and Who is the Heretic?"

Today, it is ‘evil’ and ‘unlawful’ to force anyone of a certain belief, even to the point of death, to believe in the false doctrines of one’s own. 

Shincheonji side | Shincheonji is working to restore the faith according to the Bible and to fulfill God’s will on earth by doing the work of the light in the dark world. The conversion pastors are the ones who are causing problems in society by violating human rights through coercive conversion educations.  

Religions have the right to evangelize no matter what church it is. Existing churches view evangelism with value but it is unfair to say that when Shincheonji evangelizes to save lives it is considered “selfish” or as “deception.” 

The people of Shincheonji church did not come by force or coercion but they came by their own will and judgment. Shincheonji is spreading the gospel with the heart of loving the souls and to complete God’s nation promised in the Bible (New Testament). 

그렇다면, 누가 참 정통이고, 누가 이단인가? 오늘날 성도를 죽이기까지 하면서 자기 교단의 거짓교리를 믿게 하는 것은 ‘악’이요 ‘불법’이다. 신천지는 성경적 신앙을 회복하기 위해, 그리고 성경대로 하나님의 뜻을 이 땅에 이루어 드리고자 어두운 세상에 빛이 되는 일들을 하고 있다. 오히려 강제개종 교육으로 인권유린을 함으로써 사회적 문제를 일으키고 있는 개종목사들이 사회의 악이다. 종교에는 포교의 자유가 있기에 전도를 하며, 이는 어떤 교회도 마찬가지이다. 기존 교회에서 전도를 가치있는 일로 여긴다면, 신천지가 구원을 위해 전도하는 것을 ‘이기적’이라거나 ‘미혹하는 것’이라고 말하는 것은 공평하지 않다. 신천지로 온 사람들은 어떠한 강압과 강요가 아닌, 스스로의 의지로 판단해서 온 것이다. 신천지는 영혼을 사랑하는 마음으로, 그리고 성경(신약)의 약속대로 하나님 나라를 완성하기 위해서 복음을 전파하고 있다.
