What are righteousness, justice, and truth? 

Righteousness refers to virtuous actions, justice to the correct way or the correct teaching, and truth to the Holy Word of God. These are the teachings that the Holy God has given from heaven.

공의와 공도와 진리는 어떤 것인가? 공의는 옳은 행실이요, 공도는 바른 길 곧 정도, 바른 교육이요, 진리는 하나님의 거룩하신 말씀이다. 이는 하늘에서 준 거룩하신 하나님의 교육이다.

Let us step into the great will of God and follow His will

Jesus, who was with God, said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.” He also said, “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’”(Mt 6:31). 

He explained, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Mt 6:26-30), and he continued, “…your heavenly Father knows that you need them” (Mt 6:32). 

Let us throw away the petty thoughts of small-hearted people and let us step into the great will of God and follow His will.

하나님과 함께하신 예수님은 마태복음 6:33에 “너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라.” 하셨다. 그리고 “무엇을 먹을까, 무엇을 마실까, 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라.” 하셨고(마 6:31), “새와 풀을 보라. 심지도 않고 거두지도 않고 창고에 모아 들이지도 아니하되 하나님께서 기르시나니, 하물며 사람이 이것들보다 귀하지 않느냐?” 하시며(마 6:26-30), 하나님은 우리에게 있어야 할 것을 다 아신다고 하셨다(마 6:32). 소인배들의 생각을 버리고 크신 하나님의 뜻 안에 들어가 하나님의 뜻에 따르자.

The thoughts of the man whom God is not with

There is a difference between the thoughts of the man whom God is not with, versus the thoughts of the man God is with. 

Let us listen to the words that the Lord said to the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, the hypocrites.

하나님이 그 안에 없는 사람의 생각과 하나님이 함께하는 사람의 생각은 다르다. 주께서 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들에게 하신 말씀을 들어 보자. 

“How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.” (Mt 7:4-6)

It is recorded in the Bible that those who pay no attention to their own faults but are quick to point out other people’s faults are hypocrites, like dogs and pigs. Why do you not look at yourself but only look at others and talk about others?  Even if they receive this great and precious Word of truth, they do not understand its value, like dogs and pigs.

Jesus taught us many commandments. However, there are people who think they are right, that they are great, righteous, and holy, and who regard others as sinners. Those who habitually wander around, carelessly blurting out their feelings and scoffing at others, are those who have become the messengers of Satan. They do not realize how wrong, very wrong, their actions are.

자기의 부족함은 아랑곳도 없이 다른 사람들의 잘못만 헤아리는 사람은 기록된 것과 같이 외식(外飾)하는 자이며, 개와 돼지 같은 자이다. 왜 자기는 보지 않고, 남을 보며 남의 말을 하고 다니는가? 아무리 좋은 진리의 말씀을 주어도 개와 돼지같이 귀한 것을 알지 못한다. 예수님은 많은 계명을 우리에게 알려 주셨다. 하나 자기만 옳고 대단하고 의롭고 거룩하고 다른 사람은 죄인으로만 취급하고, 여기저기 다니며 말짓거리를 일삼는 자는 사단의 사자가 된 자이다. 그는 자기 행동이 얼마나 큰 잘못인지 알지 못하는 자이다.

Taking the promised words lightly shows that one does not believe

The scores would be the evidence that the Word is not in them. The Word from the beginning is God, the life, the light, and the path leading to the kingdom of heaven. This Word is the light, the truth, and the life. 

Taking the promised words lightly shows that one does not believe. Having motives for fame, power, and authority is to follow the will of Satan, not the righteousness of God.

태초의 말씀이 하나님이시고, 이 말씀이 생명이며 빛이고, 천국 가는 길이니, 이 말씀은 빛과 진리와 생명이다. 약속의 말씀을 대수롭지 않게 여기는 것은 믿지 않는 행위이다. 명예와 감투와 권세를 목적하는 자는 사단의 뜻에 따르는 자이며, 하나님의 의에 따르는 자가 아니다.

The greatest era of truth

The time of Moses was the era of the Law. The time of Jesus’s first coming was the era of the parables of the gospel of heaven. And the time of the New Testament—the time of the Spirit of truth, the Counselor—is the greatest era of truth in the 6,000 years of creation. This truth is the most joyous path that has been made known since the creation (초락도,初樂道). It is the era when the parables that Jesus spoke are being told plainly (Jn 16:25). 

Those who disregard this era, who ridicule the Word, who fix their eyes only on honor and power and obtain them with money, must repent. 

모세 때는 율법시대였고, 예수님 초림 때는 하늘 복음 비유 때였고, 신약의 진리의 성령 보혜사 때는 6천 년 인류 최고의 진리의 때이다. 이 진리는 태고 이후 초락도(初樂道)이다. 이 때는 예수님이 말씀하신 비유도 밝게 알리는 때이다(요 16:25). 이 때를 무시하고, 진리를 우습게 알고 명예와 감투에만 눈을 뜨고 이를 돈으로 사는 행동을 하는 자는 회개해야 한다.

One cannot be a pastor if he cannot teach about God and the Word

The congregation members pray, evangelize, serve, tithe, and edify the church in fervency. But what should the pastor give to his congregation? He must give the Word of truth to his congregation so that they may walk on the correct path and be qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. One cannot be a pastor if he cannot teach about God and the Word, which is life. 

In Malachi 2, it is written that God made a covenant with a priest. A pastor is a priest. He must walk with God and have truth on his lips, so that his congregation members can seek truth from him. If neither God nor the truth is in him, he will eventually walk away from the correct path and not become a priest.

성도들은 열심히 기도하고, 전도하고, 봉사하고, 십일조를 드리고, 교회에 덕을 세운다. 하나 목자가 성도에게 주는 것이 무엇인가? 성도에게 진리의 말씀을 주어 정도의 길로 천국에 들어가는 자격을 만들어 주어야 한다. 하나님과 생명인 말씀을 가르치지 못하면 목자가 될 수 없다. 말라기 2장의 말씀을 본바, 하나님이 제사장과 맺은 언약이 있다. 목자는 곧 제사장이다. 하나님과 동행하는 사자가 되어야 하고, 입에는 진리가 있어 성도들이 그 입에서 진리를 구하게 되어야 할 것이다. 하나님도 진리도 그 안에 없으면 정도에서 떠난 자가 되고, 제사장이 될 수 없다.

We must throw away superficial lives of faith

It is written that one can be sanctified by the truth (Jn 17:17-19). Is the one who does not have the truth a righteous man or a sinner? Why is the truth neglected? Who will allow people without faith and the Word to enter heaven? 

We must throw away superficial lives of faith and carry out a proper life of faith. 

진리로 거룩해진다 하셨으니(요 17:17-19) 진리가 없는 자가 의인이겠는가, 죄인이겠는가? 왜 진리를 등한히 하는가? 말씀도 믿음도 없는 사람이 천국에 들어가려고 하니 누가 들어오라 하겠는가? 형식적 신앙을 버리고 바른 신앙에 들어서야한다.

It is written that anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ, but if the Spirit of God lives in us, He will also give life to our mortal bodies. Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us, so we must also endure our sufferings like Jesus (Rom 8:17-18). 

그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도인이 아니라 하였고, 하나님의 영이 함께하시면 죽을 몸도 살리신다 하였으며, 지금 우리가 고생하는 것은 장차 받을 영광과 비교할 수 없다 하였으니, 지금 고생도 예수님같이 해야 한다(롬 8:17-18).
