What is the meaning of light and darkness recorded in the Bible?
There is light in the day and darkness in the night in the physical world.
The light and darkness in the Bible doesn't refer to the physical day and night in the world, but the spiritual day and night figuratively compare to the physical day and night in the world.
The day, that is the light, means the word of life of God,
and the night, that is darkness, means the lack of knowledge without the word of the life of God - no truth, but just worldly word.
성경에서 말한 빛과 어두움은 무엇을 말한 것인가?
세상에는 낮과 밤이 있어, 낮은 빛이요 밤은 어두움이다.
성경이 말씀한 빛과 어두움은 세상의 낮과 밤을 말한 것이 아니며,
눈에 보이는 세상의 낮과 밤을 빙자한 영적인 낮과 밤을 말한 것이다.
낮 곧 빛은 하나님의 생명의 말씀을 말한 것이며,
밤 곧 어두움은 하나님의 생명의 말씀이 없는 무지 곧 지식이 없는 것과, 비진리, 세상 말 등을 말한 것이다.
Jesus came as the light
Jesus who came in the name of God (Jn 5:43) and came as the light (Jn 12:46) to bear the sins for the mankind and preached the gospel of the heaven and left.
It has been approximately 2,000 years since Jesus left.
하나님의 이름으로, 빛으로 오신 예수님은 만백성들의 죄를 대신 지시고 하늘 복음을 전하고 가셨다.
그리고 떠나 가신 지가 2천 년이 되었다.
The light of the world
Jesus, who is the light, said,
“As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me.
Night is coming, when no one can work.
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (Jn 9:4-5).
빛이신 예수님께서 하신 말씀을 보면
“때가 아직 낮이매 나를 보내신 이의 일을 우리가 하여야 하리라 밤이 오리니 그 때는 아무도 일할 수 없느니라 내가 세상에 있는 동안에는 세상의 빛이로라.”고 하셨다.
Peace comes by being saved through the truth.
One can avoid destruction by perceiving and knowing the promised words of the New Testament,
and such a person is able to escape from where he is kept as the enemy’s captive.
Without the word of truth, which is the light, it is only a dark night.
The night refers to the darkness that people cannot see, the time people sleep.

신약에 약속한 말씀을 깨달아 앎으로 멸망을 피할 것이며,
대적에게 포로 된 곳에서 벗어날 수 있게 된다. 빛인 진리의 말씀이 없으면 캄캄한 밤이고,
밤은 보이지 않는 어둠이며 자는 때이다.
진리로 구원받음으로 평화가 된다.
The Word in the beginning
As it says that “the Word in the beginning” is life and the light,
when one is born again through the Word in the beginning,
he also becomes the Word,
like God and Jesus.
One must first have the Word for God to be with him and to be guided by God.
태초의 말씀이 생명이요 빛이라 하였으니,
하나님같이 예수님같이 태초의 말씀으로 다시 나면 그도 말씀이 된다.
말씀이 먼저 있어야 하나님이 함께하시고,
하나님의 인도를 받게 된다.
